Frequently asked questions

Do I have to pay anything to use the extension?: No. The Free tier gives you 50 exports per day per IP, clean documents with no watermarks. Premium ($1.99/mo) adds unlimited exports, priority processing and AI document generation from the prompt library (~45 docs/month). Teams extends it to a whole team with a shared pool.
Are the prompt-library downloads free?: Browsing the prompts is free. Generating a document with AI and downloading it as Word or PDF is a paid feature, included in Premium and Teams and limited to ~45 documents per month on Premium (or a shared team pool on Teams). It is separate from the extension’s 50 free daily chat exports.
How does the Teams invite code work?: When you subscribe to Teams you receive a single invite code. Up to 10 colleagues can claim a seat by entering their email at /teams/claim. Once 10 seats are taken the code stops accepting new claims.
How do I get my FreeLabTools Token after paying?: Right after Stripe Checkout you are redirected to a one-time page that shows your token. Paste it into the extension popup — or on any prompt page when you click Download Word/PDF — to unlock your paid features.
Can I cancel anytime?: Yes. Cancel in one click from your Stripe customer portal; you keep premium until the end of the paid period and then the token reverts to Free.
Where is my data?: Almost everything stays in your browser. Only the .docx export and AI generation send content to our server to render the file. We don’t store the content — see our privacy policy.
