Privacy Policy

Effective date: 14 May 2026

This policy explains what data freelabtools.com (operated by [YOUR COMPANY NAME / AUTÓNOMO], hereafter "we") collects, why, and what your rights are. It is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and aligns with similar regimes (UK GDPR, Swiss FADP, California CCPA).

1. The short version

Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. The files, text and images you process never leave your device. We do not have a database of users. We do not have user accounts. We do not sell data to anyone.

2. What we do collect

2.1 Standard server logs

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) records standard request logs: IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent, and referrer. These logs are used to operate the site, detect abuse, and produce aggregated statistics. They are kept for a short period and never linked to other personal data.

2.2 Local browser storage

We use localStorage in your browser to store a single number: the cumulative bytes you have processed with our tools. This number lives only on your device and is not transmitted to us. You can erase it at any time by clearing site data in your browser.

2.3 Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)

Some pages display advertising provided by Google AdSense. Google may set cookies in your browser to personalize ads and measure performance. You can read Google's policies here: policies.google.com/technologies/ads. EU/UK/Swiss visitors will see a Google-provided consent dialog (Funding Choices) the first time they visit; choices are stored in a cookie.

6. Children

The service is general-purpose and not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly process personal data of children.

7. International transfers

Hosting and CDN services are provided by Cloudflare, which operates globally. Where personal data is transferred outside the EU, transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses and/or supplementary measures.

8. Changes

We may update this policy when the service changes. The effective date above will reflect the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage.
