About FreeLabTools

FreeLabTools is a growing collection of free web tools — image optimizers, PDF editors, code formatters, QR generators, and more — that run entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server. Nothing is stored. Nothing is tracked beyond what is strictly necessary to keep the lights on.

Our mission

The web is full of "free" tools that quietly collect your data, watermark your output, or push you toward a paid plan after three uses. We think small, focused utilities should just work — fast, private, and at no cost. That's it.

How it works technically

Every tool on this site is built with modern browser APIs (Web Workers, Canvas, File API, WebAssembly). When you drop a file in, your browser does the work. We don't see your image, your PDF, your code, your data. We can't see them — the architecture prevents it.

How we sustain the project

FreeLabTools is supported by display advertising. We use Google AdSense to serve ads on some pages. Ads may set cookies (see our Privacy Policy). We do not have a paid tier — the free version is the only version, and ads keep it that way.

Languages

The site is available in 6 languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Chinese, and Japanese. Each version is translated natively, not machine-translated.
